Back to Washington we go!!
On the long drive home to Washington Ashley slept! Anf we stopped in Portland and had lunch with my Dad and his girlfriend, it was great to see them! And theres a shot of the Portland temple from I-5, you can miss it if you arent paying attention!
More Eagle Scouts!!!
So it came taime for Jacob to get his Eagle Scout! Conor got his in 1996 but his grandfather had passed away so he really didnt want a ceremony, so Jacob and COnor got to share the day together!! So both the boys have their Eagle and all 4 girls got their gold project and all 4 of the husband have their Eagle!!
The Park!
With so many kids in the house over the holidays we spent a lot of time at the parks behind the house...the yellow hat Ashleys wearing was her Nanas!! hehe She wears that thing all the time now! Thanks Nana!
California State Railroad Museum
I had not been here since Kindergarten, but it was as fun as I remembered. I love taking Ashley to things that I enjoyed as a kid!!
Picture day...at the temple!
The whole Carter clan travelled to the Sacramento, California temple and took picture among the old oak trees! With so many people (and so many children!) and the bitter cold, you would think things would be crazy! But I think the spirit of the temple helped keep us all calm and happy til it was over!

With a house full of 14 adults and 8 kids and 2 pregnant ladies things can get crazy, but this day was full of great fun!

Sooooo Sorry its been so long but as you all know we have had a crazy 2 months!! So here are a whole mess of posts!! This is the view out of the back of our house, Mt Rainer or "Mt Doom" as it is called around here!
